As a public body, the Municipalité des Îles is subject to the An Act respecting access to documents held by public bodies and the protection of personnal information. A person may thus request access to an administrative or personal document held by the Municipalité des Îles.
Terms for an information request
For a quick identification, the application form must contain:
- Title and name of applicant
- Complete contact information of the applicant
- Title and date of the requested document (precisely)
- Desired mode of consultation
- Applicant’s signature
- Any other relevant information on request
The form is to be submitted at the City Hall.
The Municipalité des Îles has 20 days to respond to an information request.
In case of refusal
If access to a document or personal information is refused, the person who made a written request may, within 30 days of the decision of the person in charge, submit a request for review of the decision to the Commission d’accès à l’information. Some fees may be required for the reproduction of documents.
