  1. Soil testing
This study (percolation test) must be done by a specialized technologist. This test will establish the type of installation required for your land in order to correct the problem in accordance to the Q-2, r.22. You are free to contact the firm of your choice.
  2. Certificate of authorization at the Municipality
You must take steps to obtain a certificate of authorization (permit) from the Municipality. You must send or deposit a full copy of the study carried out by the specialist and your complete contact information, telephone number and planned date of work. You must also pay the $ 25 fee.
  3. Verification of the work
Once the work has been completed (and before covering it), contact a municipal inspector so he can take photographs and add them into your file residence. In case of sale, this will confirm to a potential buyer that there has been some work done.
